All About Me

I am a dreamer, but I have written goals

I keep a journal and try to write in it daily.

I love working with kids age 3-18.

I want to have several kids, and name them as uniquely as I have been named.

I played the clarinet in my High School band.

I like all kinds of music and movies.

I very rarely drink.

My favorite Disney character is Winnie the Pooh.

My favorite movie is Life is Beautiful but I also love Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Sleepers, Remember the Titans, Road to Perdition and the Star Wars series.

I am deeply spiritual, but think that more than one religion may be right

I still don't know exactly what I want to be when I grow up.

I started grad school because I didn't want to sit in front of a computer all day.

I have secrets that no one else on the planet knows about me.

I am almost religious about working out three times a week.

I'm a great listener.

I believe that we all have a few true soul mates in the world, my brother was one of them and some day I'm going to find the other ones.

My favorite color is Forest Green.

I don't like to watch professional sports except hockey.

I'm a workaholic.

I love being outdoors.

When I fall in love, it is deeply and passionately.

I believe every person you meet on earth has some good in them, and by meeting each one of them your life will be changed in some way.

I'll try anything once.

I'm a little disorganized, but I can tell you where everything is, and I am getting organized.

I'm a bookworm.

I have probably one of the top libraries in the world on football and I own over 600 books.

I try to throw one thing away every day, because I want to simplify my life.

I was on the football team four years, track team three years, and the basketball team two years in high school.

I was engaged once for about two and a half months after only dating for three months.

I have been in love three times in my life.

I love to travel.

I am an oldest child.

I have been a student, graduate student, graduate assistant, and faculty member (that is what the appointment papers said) at Michigan State University.

I love to watch high school and college football, basketball, and hockey.

I taught anatomy to college students.

My football jersey number in High School was 66.

I ran a 1/2 marathon in 2:06:52.2 on 11/30/04

I hiked the Grand Canyon to the Colorado River and back 16.7 miles in one day (4/4/05)

I have been to all 50 states.

I want to raft down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, climb Mount Kilimanjaro, visit all 7 Continents, and Sky dive.

I have skied in the Rockey Mountains (Taos NM, 4/8/05)

I have competed in the Olentany Duathlon in 2007 and 2008 and both times won my division

I completed the Firecracker Sprint Triathlon and the Prairie View Sprint Triathlon in 2007
